Gestures: draw by hand

Press and hold the mouse on an empty spot of the chart: a ring appears and fills in about half a second. A little hand tremor is fine; if you move the mouse earlier, it is an ordinary chart drag. Once the ring is full, draw by hand: a horizontal stroke becomes a level, a slanted one a trendline, a closed rectangle a zone, a stroke with a head an arrow, an oval a circle.

While you draw, the cursor shows what is being recognized. If the shape matches none of the five, nothing is drawn and a hint appears. Gestures can be turned off with a button on the drawing panel.

In the Telegram mini app

Pick the brush in the drawing dock and draw on the chart with your finger. A little tremor is fine. A horizontal stroke becomes a level, a slanted one a trendline, a closed rectangle a zone, a stroke with a head an arrow, an oval a circle.

While you draw, the recognized shape is shown above your finger. If the shape matches none of the five, nothing is drawn and a hint appears. Without the brush, a finger moves the chart. Sideways — in time; up and down — in price too: the scale switches to manual. Two fingers zoom: spread horizontally for time, vertically for price. A finger on the price scale on the right zooms price. A double tap on the chart resets the view: auto price and the normal time scale.

In the EVA app and in a phone browser

The drawing panel is turned on in “Chart tools” → “Drawing”. A long press on an empty spot of the chart shows a crosshair with the values under your finger here, not the gesture ring; lift the finger without moving it and the chart menu opens.
