EVA Help

Alerts

The bell in the terminal header opens the “My alerts” window; on a phone — the bell in the top bar or “More” → “Alerts”. The window lists your active alerts: each has a switch, “edit” and “delete”. At the top are the “+ New alert” button, the “Alert sound” switch and a line about Telegram: whether the bot is connected.

New alert

  1. “+ New alert”.
  2. The type: “Price”, “Clusters”, “Stacked imbalance”, “Intersection” or “Market events”. A type your account cannot use is grey, and its card says why.
  3. The main fields of the form and “Where to notify”.
  4. “Create alert” (for an edited one — “Save”).

Frequency, quiet hours and a custom name are under “Extra”. The “Intersection” alert and the “Where on the chart” field have their own article.

Where to notify

Three channels, each turned on separately. “On screen” — a notification and a sound while the terminal is open. “In Telegram” — a message from the EVA bot; it arrives even with the tab closed. “To phone” — a notification on devices where notifications are on: “More” → “App and notifications”, on a computer — ⚙ Settings → at the bottom of the left column “App and notifications”. Without Telegram, alerts work on screen and on the phone; “Market events” do not come on screen — only in Telegram and to the phone.

A price alert on a line

A “Price” alert is a horizontal line on the coin’s chart; you can drag it with the mouse. You can set one right from the chart: right-click → “Alert at …”; on a phone — a long press on the chart or “Chart tools” → “Alert by tap”. Right-clicking a horizontal line → “Alert at this price” opens the “Price alert” box.

In the box, the “notify via” block has three independent checkboxes: “screen”, “Telegram”, “phone”. At least one is required: the last one cannot be unticked — you will see “At least one channel: screen, Telegram or phone”. A new alert always has “screen” on, “Telegram” if the bot works, and “phone” if notifications are on for this device. If Telegram is unavailable, its checkbox is grey, with a note below. The caption under the checkboxes says how the alert fires: on screen — while the terminal is open (the coin’s chart need not be open); in Telegram and to the phone — the server checks the level every second, and the message arrives even with the tab closed.

The “Price” form in “My alerts” has the same channels as switches: “On screen”, “In Telegram”, “To phone”. It also has “How many times”: “Once” — after it fires the alert leaves the list, “Every time” — on every cross, at most once a minute; plus “Frequency in Telegram and to phone” and “Quiet hours”.

Alerts are market observations, not instructions on what to do.
